कलाकारी — the art of making
Kalaqari is a small studio with a simple belief: things made by hand carry something that machines can’t copy — time, care, and a little bit of the person who made them.
What started as a love for craft slowly grew into a shelf, then a workshop, then a store. Today Kalaqari is home to handmade photo albums that hold your memories the old-fashioned way, crochet pieces worked loop by loop, resin art that catches the light differently every hour of the day, custom nameplates that make a door feel like a home, stationery that makes you want to write again, and DIY kits for the days you’d rather make something yourself.
How we work
Everything in our shop is made in small batches — many pieces are made to order, which means your order may take a few extra days to reach you. We think it’s worth the wait. Because nothing here comes off an assembly line, no two pieces are ever exactly alike: colours shift slightly, textures vary, and each item carries small marks of its making. That’s not a flaw — that’s the point.
Made for gifting (or keeping)
A lot of what we make ends up as gifts — anniversary albums, nameplates for new homes, little desk companions in resin. If you have something particular in mind, we love custom work. Tell us your idea through the contact page and we’ll figure it out together.
